Lisa M. Endee, Russell Rozensky, and Stephen G. Smith, each have over 20 years’ experience in the field of respiratory care, sleep diagnostics and therapeutics, community education and public health.  Over the last 10 years, they have been active in numerous public health initiatives targeting drowsy and distracted driving, facilitated by various grant awards by organizations including State Farm Insurance, the Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee, and the National Road Safety Foundation. Serving on, and working with, various committees/boards, they have successfully led many initiatives aimed at raising awareness about drowsy driving and the importance of sleep to overall health and safety.

Lisa M. Endee, MPH, RT, RRT-SDS, RPSGT     (Biography and CV)
Lisa is a respiratory therapist with over 20 years’ experience in the field of respiratory care and sleep diagnostics and therapeutics. Her areas of expertise include clinical practice in pediatric and adult polysomnography, sleep laboratory management, quality assurance and performance improvement, and public and community sleep research and education. Over the past 10 years, Lisa has secured funding and led numerous public health initiatives targeting the prevention of drowsy driving among high-risk populations.

Russell Rozensky, MS, RT, RRT-SDS, RPSGT, CCSH    (Biography and CV)
Russ is a respiratory therapist and clinical sleep health educator with over 25 years’ experience in sleep diagnostics, therapeutics, and respiratory care and. His areas of expertise include: polysomnography (adult and pediatric), sleep laboratory management (PI & QA), community education, and clinical sleep research. Russ has been integral in securing various research grants from GTSC, NIMH, and the NRSF furthering education and understanding into sleep and health, as well as raising awareness of drowsy driving.

Stephen G. Smith, MPA, RT, RRT, FAARC    (Biography and CV)
Stephen has been practicing respiratory care for the last 47 years.  During this time, he has been a manager, corporation owner, academician, and researcher. Steve has spoken conferences, reviewed textbooks, peered reviewed articles, has received research grants, and has been published in medical journals. His specialty areas include cardiology, cardiac pathologies related to sleep disorders, medical ethics, public health, and advanced respiratory care techniques. Steve was selected as a fellow of the American Association for Respiratory Care.
